New Etsy Shop, YouTube Channel and More Social Media Updates

by | Jul 8, 2025 | Inked in Stardust, Site News & Updates

There are some exciting things in the works for Written Stars! Over the past few months, I’ve been working behind the scenes, and if you follow me on social media, you may have already seen a hint of what’s coming—I’m launching a brand new Etsy shop!

Inked in Stardust, Chapters in Ink, Dusted with Stars Bookish Merch. The Esty shop will focus on bookish merchandise like t-shirts, mugs, notebooks, tote bags, and more. I’ve been designing a collection of book-inspired items that I hope you’ll love. I haven’t announced an official launch date just yet, but stay tuned here and on social media—it’s coming very soon!

New social media updates

Speaking of social media, I’ve decided to update my account names to better reflect both the website and the Etsy shop. Most of my social handles will now be under @WrittenStarsInk. That includes: Instagram, TikTok, and Threads. The exception is BlueSky, which is verified using the writtenstars.com domain. My account on X will rename the same as it has been. It’ll be a mix of personal, and about the website. The reason for that is because of the changes to the platform in recent years that have made me less interested in using it to solely promote my shop, website, etc. I felt it was better to keep things the way they are there. If you want updates on my website, the Etsy shop, and bookish content then you’ll want to follow Written Stars on other platforms.

As for a personal account, I’ve realized that most of my posts are already about reading, writing, or editing my book—so I felt it was better to just rename my handle to fit with both the website, bookish content, and the Etsy shop. Rather than creating separate accounts. I may create a separate personal account in the future, but in the meantime, feel free to message me anytime—whether you have a question or just want to chat!

If you’re on Facebook and want to keep up with updates in your feed, I’ve created a new page dedicated to blog news, writing updates, Etsy shop releases, and general bookish conversation. I’ve also decided to finally start using my YouTube channel. It was created a few years ago, but I never had plans on what to do with it. I wanted it to be related to the website, but I haven’t just yet. At the time I was promoting a Backstreet Boys book that fit better on the BSBFangirls.com channel. Now that about to change.

The YouTube channel will feature the same kind of content you’ll find here and on other platforms—my journey as a writer, what I’m currently reading, behind-the-scenes from the Etsy shop, and more. The videos will likely be more in-depth and a bit longer than what I post elsewhere.

Make sure to subscribe to the YouTube channel and follow the new Facebook page so you don’t miss out on what’s coming, and all the bookish fun! You can also follow Written Stars on Instagram, TikTok, and our other platforms for the latest!
